Derbyshire is a great place to visit for peace & tranquility along with some fantastic scenery. Camping, walking and
cycling are some of the most common activities, there are oodles of quaint villages, markets & craft stalls for the less
energetic amongst us, with stately homes galore, regular antiques fairs and don’t forget the many local customs of well
Dressings, Shrovetide football etc. The Peak caverns & caves are breathtaking along with the Blue John mines and a visit
to Matlock Bath is a must. Derby is central for all major transport links.
The city of Derby has many historical attractions: ghost walks, art galleries and museums with links to local industry
e.g Derby Crown China & Rolls Royce. Derby has plenty of safe parking, whether you’re visiting the new shopping complex,
sightseeing around the Cathedral or taking in a show at the Assembly Rooms. So ... Hope to see you soon !
